Noctis is a space exploration simulator. But it’s not like anything you’ll have seen before: This bad boy runs in DOS, and has a file size of about 5 MB. Yet you can still visit every star, planet, and moon in the galaxy (one larger than the milky way FYI). Not impressed yet? Well, remember all those moons and planets? You can walk around on them, full size! They can even contain native flora and fauna. “How is this possible?!” you might be asking, and I can assure you it is.
I’ve set up a DosBox version of it for Win7 computers, it’s configured in the same way my game is:
I also made a quick and dirty Felysian Clock stand-alone program for win7:
Oh, and the next Epoc 6012 rolls over on 2015-09-10 at 1:46:40AM.

Omgggg the memories😭😭
This brought back so many nostalgic memories from the early early noughties, when I was 6-7 playing on my brand new Windows ME machine with a whopping 4gb HDD. Thank you so much <3
space engine is way better
Game start in Window mod, can I make it full screen? also, I have no music, what i am doing wrong?
I subbbbbbed!!!!
I never heard of this game. I really need to play this!!!! It's like No Man's Sky!
Try space engine
I had no idea this existed… what cruelty!
No Man's Sky, made by one man 16 years ago. Suck on that hello games lol.
Is there a purpose to this game besides exploring? Even minecraft has a purpose more than just walking around 😛
Neat.
no mans sky will be this, but 100x better 🙂
Oh i loved this game, mind if i ask how you got it working? it doesnt seem to like newer operating systems
Have you played MirrorMoon EP before? I think it was kinda based in Noctis.
Oh hey, Noctis. Used to play this a lot when I was younger, back then it was tough finding named locations! It had a lot of cool stuff in it, considering it's size, and like you said the low resolution kinda enhances the atmosphere. Shame the programmer never got around to making the 'V'-version.
